What would a garden be without a hardy banana species? This one
is my favorite, musa sikkimensis, a.k.a. Darjeeling Banana. It's home
is the lower elevations of the Himalayas, up to 6,000 feet. The pink
and white flowers in front is nicotiana mutabilis from Brazil.
